The latest single 'Rolling Thunder' is now available on itunes - check it out!

'Billy's lullaby', which was recently remastered at TurtleRock studios, will appear on a U.S. compilation CD called 'Guitars of tomorrow Vol 1' to be released internationally on Sep 10.  The song is Kurt's most popular instrumental slide piece.  The band also has a new single in production which will be a landmark track for the band (see Album update).  The single 'Rolling Thunder' has been released on itunes. You can hear a lesser quality sample on sounds page. The Broken Hearted Mexicans are now known as The Kurt Williams Band.  May the mexicans rest in peace! Dates for 2008 will be up soon. Kurt is currently writing and recording for next release whilst performing guest appearances for other local bands.

Album update

The band is currently in the studio working on their next single release.  The magic is happening at Song Rimes studios in Sydney with producer Lindsay Rimes at the helm.  It is shaping up to be a monster - look out for it soon.   The band is working towards a major album release and have been busy cutting demos for the album and it is a cracker!  The tunes are covering modern alt-blues rock and indie rock genres.
